Keith Place is the director of Oxford Sales Consultants (OSC) which offers advice, training, coaching and mentoring to many types of clients.

Relevant to you, he has spent most of his working life tied up with the construction industry in some form. He started out working life as a carpenter/joiner working for local contractors and then a local council before he set up on his own as a carpenter.

He went on to college where he took a building diploma and then a degree in design and architecture, all the while working as a carpenter to pay his way.

He moved into sales and marketing where for the last 20 years he has trained and coached many sales and non- sales people to be better at selling and marketing and to have good relationships with customers.

He has led large sales teams selling into merchants and distributors as well as direct to local authorities, utilities and developers.
