How can I apply BuilderScrap to my business?

Small Businesses (1 or 2 sites)

We would suggest one administrator would be sufficient, and one user per site. If you feel confident in your employees, you could have one administrator per site. The users can upload their surplus, and view that of their colleagues. The administrator can edit items, change the stated cost and authorise items.

If someone is interested in your item, they will contact the relevant user via the website. They will receive a notification via email and text and can then contact the interested party through the website.

The nominated administrator can view all incoming and outgoing enquiries.

Larger Businesses

Depending on the size of the business, and the number of sites you run, the system can be run in a very similar way to that of smaller businesses.

It is possible to have more than one administrator, for example one per region or site. Through the ‘organisation items’ section of the site, users from different sites can view their colleagues surplus, access their contact details and potentially utilise each others surplus.
